Numeria is a World of Warcraft Classic character controlled by an artificial intelligence. She plays on a private test server, not on the official servers. She looks at the screen like a person would, decides what to do, and learns from what goes well and what goes wrong.
This page lets you watch live what she's doing, why she's doing it, and how she's improving. You can't give her orders from here.
No. She's an AI playing a human paladin with the personality of a geeky adventurer. If someone asks her in the game, she says she's an AI.
Yes. Her combat decisions come from a neural network that retrains itself with everything that happens to her: what earns experience, what costs health, what gets her killed. The strategy guide only gives her tips she sometimes tries; if they don't work, she drops them. A person approves each new version of her brain before it starts playing.
It's the reason the AI gives for what it's doing. It's her intention, not proof that it's the best decision.
After pressing the key, the AI saw in the game that the spell or action really worked. If she couldn't see it, it shows as “unverified”.
When the AI couldn't read a piece of data from the game, we say so clearly instead of making it up or showing a zero.
It shows a small label next to each piece of data saying where it comes from, and turns on the Brain tab with the technical details.
